4th task in Argentina : The Valic brothers and Mac Para clean up !

With better conditions expected, the task is a race to goal with a start 40 mn after the window opening, at 13:20. All pilots take off within 20 mn but the first climb is very slow. Going to the first turnpoint, only 4 km from take off is almost putting everybody on the ground...

No task today as the cloud cover prevented the sun to shine all day long. At night, a huge amount of rain is flooding the main street in Yerba Buena, the town nearby the head-quarter where most pilots are staying. Despite these rainfall, the forecast for tomorrow is good ! We will see...

The 5th and last event of the 2007 Paragliding World Cup Tour takes place in Tucùman, Argentina from October 13th to October 20th.

• October 15th: no task
• October 16th: 66.6km elapsed time task with more than 50 pilots in goal, Marco Littame wins the task
• October 17th: 53.7km race, Karel Vrbensky wins the task
• October 18th: 54km elapsed time task won by Francisco Vargas
• October 19th: 60km race... Urban Valic wins the task

Bad conditions for the first task in Tucuman. The conditions are quite diffucult to forecast and an elapsed time task is started. The conditions are quickly becoming much too weak and no pilot are able to reach the validation distance of 30km. The task is not valid and not scored.
